Jobs to do in the apiary in October

World Bee Day

Sunday 19 May, Otley Courthouse Artwork courtesy of Otley Courthouse This event is sponsored by Wharfedale Beekeepers Association, and though free, donations to WBKA will be welcome on the day. Please book your places at the Courthouse box office for the films.

YBKA Conference 2019

The conference, which will be held in York on Saturday, 6th April, is now open for bookings. For more information, see the YBKA website.

Trip to National Bee Unit

On Monday, 10 June, we will be visiting the NBU at Sand Hutton near York. There are 15 places available, and we will be running a minibus on the day. If you would like to go, please contact Linda, the membership secretary, via the Contact page.

Honey Show and AGM

This year's Honey Show and AGM will be held at Ilkley Rugby Club on Friday, 9th November, starting at 7:00pm. Details of the AGM and Show have been sent out with the October issue of Combings.

YBKA Annual Spring Meeting

The 2018 YBKA Annual Spring Meeting was held on Saturday, 24 March at Manor Academy, Millfield Lane, Nether Poppleton, YORK YO26 6PA.

Combings – Spring Edition

Combings is the newsletter for the Association. It relies on members for its content, so if you have any short articles, photos, questions, items for sale, please contact Rhona via the Contact page. The deadline for your contributions is 14th April.
